Our Philosophy

Martha Beck describes three concentric spheres of experience. The outer ring is the Shallows — the place of stress, control, fear, and grasping at the material world. The innermost sphere is the Core of Peace — where you feel connected to everything, held by something larger, and deeply at home in yourself.

Between them lies the Ring of Fire: the necessary, often uncomfortable passage where old identities, limiting beliefs, and the stories that once kept us “safe” burn away. It can feel like loss, grief, or uncertainty. Most of us try to avoid it — and stay stuck in the shallows instead.

Yet on the other side is the life Aphrodite promises: one surrounded by love and beauty, lived from your true center. My role is to walk with you through that fire — not to rescue you from it, but to keep you company, help you question the painful thoughts, and remind you that the core of peace is already waiting.
